Asphalt Surfacing
Moriel Tarmac Solutions has been able to achieve and reach successful targets through use of the latest asphalt surfacing and commercial tarmac laying technology, giving us the capacity to lay asphalt surfaces safely, reliably and with urgency.
Projects can be completed using hand lay or mechanical asphalting pavers.
Hot Premix Asphalt
With hot premix asphalt we use asphalt pavers or an experienced hand crew in applications for surfacing roads, complexes, office parks, malls, factories, mines, parking lots, driveways and airfields.
As an approved tarmac contractor in line with CSIR principles, our highly skilled team of operatives has worked on a wide range of developments with a top quality finish.

Primers
1. Environmental Prime (E-Prime) – Bitumen Emulsion
2. MC 30 – Cut Back Bitumen
Moriel Tarmac Solutions applies primers to all base course prior to laying the HMA surface course, as this coat bonds any loose material, creating a cohesive layer between the base course and asphalt surface.
Tack Coat
Stable – SS 60% – Anionic Bitumen Emulsion
Without fail we apply a low viscosity asphalt emulsion to create a bond between an existing pavement surface and new asphalt overlay.
Fog Spray
As a bitumen applicator we can apply a light application of diluted bitumen emulsion to a bituminous surfacing as a part of the construction of such a surfacing or as a maintenance measure.
